Our ISO 9001:2000
and ISO 14001:2004 certified plant is located on a 75 acre (30 hectares) site in
Fords, New
 Jersey. We are just 45 minutes from New York City and 20 minutes from deep water ports, and offer immediate access to major highways and Conrail's rail system. Manufacturing capabilities include three segregated, self-sufficient plants, each designed for production of high purity
specialty and fine chemicals. The site also includes a 24 hour Quality Laboratory, a Research & Development Laboratory, and two pilot plants.
Hatco is perhaps best known for our leadership position in advanced synthetic lubricants for aviation, refrigeration, industrial, and automotive applications. In these markets, Hatco works closely and confidentially with lubricant companies to identify
and define difficult lubrication problems. We then custom design synthetic basestocks and/or finished formulations that are optimized to address the specific customer needs, and manufacturer, blend, package, inventory and ship the finished products for our customer.
Our goal is to provide the technology and services needed to allow our customers to focus on the sales and marketing side, while we focus on product development, manufacturing, and logistics. This unique approach combines the complimentary talents of the partners while avoiding direct competition in the marketplace, and has worked so well that Hatco is now the largest supplier of esters for high performance synthetic lubricants in the world.
