synthetic lubricants available for use in diverse applications.
With over 80 different esters in commercial production, we have
the flexibility to select or blend the products most ideally
suited for your specific needs. And if none are exactly right,
we can even custom design a new ester, tailored precisely to
your technical or market specifications. The major applications for our product are described below.
Aviation Ester
Basestocks
Our Hatcol esters find
application in a wide variety of aviation grade synthetic
lubricants and greases to both military and commercial
operators. We offer fully formulated gas turbine lubricants
meeting MIL-PRF-23699 and MIL-PRF-7808 specifications.
Specialty Esters Basestocks
In automotive markets, consumers realize the benefits of
synthetic oil, a technology that Hatco pioneered and actively
sustains for its major lubricant company clients. Hatcol
advanced ester basestocks find applications in crank case
lubricants, transmission fluids, and gear lubricants.
Refrigeration
Lubricants
As the entire world moves to
replace CFCs with ozone-safe alternatives, we lead the
development and manufacture of the synthetic lubricants required
for this conversion. We manufacture ester based compressor
lubricants for use with non-CFC refrigerants in air conditioning
and refrigeration systems as well as other applications that
require environmental friendly lubricants.
Industrial
Applications
Many of the Hatcol esters we offer find applications in high
temperature oven chains, compressor bearing and gear oils, and
greases especially developed for operating under extreme
conditions.
Personal Care
Basestocks
Available in a broad range
of viscosities, Hatco high purity products often replace mineral
oils in various skin creams, emollients and lotions where they
provide unique tactile qualities.
